My playthrough and my thoughts

Hollow Knight is one of my favourite games of all time if I'm being honest.hk Even if we don't take the developers into account (because people who are not as invested as the fandom itself are less likely to know let's be real) I think the design is beautiful. All areas. Yes crossroads too. My heart breaks everytime someone tells me they didn't start the game beacuse they think it's ugly. I get not liking the crossroads, yeah maybe I'm just a weirdo who likes dark aesthetics, but the next area. Actually all after crossroads if you didn't like that one. But I might be biased because as I said I love the crossroads too.

My next point is the music. CHRISTOPHER LARKIN YOU ABSOLUTE MUSICAL GENIUS. I swear to God the first time when I played this game I was humming Greenpath's ambiance for weeks. I'm not even overexaggerating. But of course my favourite soundtracks will always be Resting Grounds and City of Tears. Enviroment-wise. If we are talking about boss music I have an obvious favourite which would be Nightmare King Grimm. Although I never really fought NKG, I could barely do Troupe Master Grimm too.

The true ending question

My first playthrough was a casual one and at the time I didn't know of the existence of the multiple endings, so obviously I only fought the Hollow Knight and that was it.grimm eating lucky charms I knew I missed some things, like the Collector fight but I never really thought about even the option that there could be more than one endings. Until. I finally watched the lore video. (btw damn that one would be another paragraph entirely) From then on I plan on doing a True Ending run. Not a 100% because I dread the pantheons but someday a True Ending playthrough.
