First and foremost

I really wanna know what were they on while this game was in developement

Now that that's out of the way

I genuinely wonder why I didn't listen to my girlfriend sooner, to play this game. But also my brain began frying while I was playing because WHAT IS ON MY SCREEN?! (in a good sense) Somehow I also tricked myself into believing that this game had multiple chapters and was kinda dissapointed when I found out that the 2nd chapter is in fact still in developement. I cannot wait for chapter two, in the meantime I will 100% chapter one's achievements. I already started to plan it out, the raft achievement is the only one I'm worried about.

Favourite moments

The whole thing. To deep dive into this a little, the first favourite moment I had was at the very start when the figure started swimming in the red sky. I think this sets the tone brilliantly. Aswell as the next area, which resembles a casino.
Then next we meet two characters Froggy and Dratula. And of course I can't forget Ena's iconic dialogue:

"Hope you don't mind, but could you tell me, WHERE THE HELL IS THE BOSS?"

Or tbh I don't know how iconic this line is, it was to me because I saw that particular scene before I played the game. What was a surprise to me, is that Froggy didn't speak English, but later I understood that this is a common phenomenon. In fact i think the third character (the receptionist idk her name) speaks French? But later Bridge guy speaks Italian (Italian crash outs on top), Vending machine Animal crossing language. Also. Coral glasses. I fricking love her. Please please give her more dialogue in chapter 2. I might be biased a tad bit. Meh.

My next favourite was the Gutsy Cave. At first because then I tried to cross the impossible jump for like half an hour, then when I found out I could crawl into the taxi drivers sleeve I did, retrived his heads then fell down and couldn't parkour my way back up. *sigh* What a time.

Then since I did the jobs route I got to see Alex's (Bridge guy's) crash out. I love him too.

At first I couldn't figure out how to use the Humanboard but now I feel so stupid for that. The final parkour was enjoyable in my opinion (not like a CERTAIN cave).

But yk who gets too little credit in my opinion? The blob person npcs. They are all so cutely clueless. And their speech resembles Stray npc's for me. But I literally cannot find a picture of them anywhere for the life of me so just imagine a very cute clueless pink blob person if you have no idea what I'm talking about.

Ena

I find her character very intriguing. Especially what she said at the vending machine when they wouldn't want to sell her anything, or what happened with Taski Maiden. The vending machine scene felt like a flashback to war or something. What happened at the core too. Almost forgot that. She also says something about "too many souls". So is it not just Dealie and Meanie? And I cannot forget the concept art of chapter 2, where she's gray again. And crawling towards someone. What kind of (witchery) shamanry is happening?

I love Dealie's voice. And Meanie's too to be honest. Very informative line.

I would maaaaaaaybe be a bit happier if Ena wasn't canon she/her only. Like come on?! Dealie?! But still a masterpiece, just a tinytiny bit of a flaw.
