I absolutely loved Tron:Legacy so I was waiting for this movie eagerly. But let me start out by saying that I absolutely despise Jared Leto, so I had mixed feelings. (he's problematic but that's only half the reason because I just didn't think his whole character would fit) But I think the main problem of everyone (including me at the start when we didn't know their replacament) was that this movie's soundtrack wouldn't be made by Daft Punk. But damn NIN!!!! NIN did such a good job with the soundtrack I absolutely love it. But of course I might be biased since I loved NIN even before the movie.
I know critics hated the movie (half of my family did too) but to be honest, I don't understand. The reason I'm trying to see into it is that most of Legacy was on The Grid. While most of Ares is in the real world.
The story is a bit meh. I can see that. But it's not that bad. I mean. Most of the characters are well-written they all have their motives and connections to eachother.
